| There is no doubt that sooner or later the settlements issue would become a problem for Israel. They should have seen it coming. There is no way that a real peace would be achieved if there is no land deal in the bargain. Israel should declare its readiness to evacuate settlements provided that the Palestinians renounce the right of return, accept an overall compensation deal (Palestinian refugees vs Jewish refugees from Arab lands) and disarm their militias. Full recognition of course by the Arab States and open borders everywhere, This would ensure that the ball remains in the Arab court, |
