| I don`t doubt that the settler movement truly believes what the say. It is regrettable that such talented and able people have opted to work against the tides of history and instead bend toward recreating a glorious past which in the end wasn`t really so glorious. It would be better for the Jewish people and the world if their not inconsiderable energies were put to work in believing in people rather than the land as the ultimate value in their lives. Yes, they may be willing to sacrifice their own existence to further their aims, but today, most rational people prefer to live in peace with their neighbors. It is called conscious human evolution. They are moving in the wrong direction....like many Arab and Moslems as well. |
