| The Senate is very pro-Israel, & many don`t agree with Obama`s arm-twisting of Israel. The Senate decides whether or not Israel gets aid & no sanctions can be placed without Senate approval. Israel has enough support in Congress to override an anti-Israel act from Obama. Obama also knows American Jews are very important to his political support & if he wants to be reelected he`d better not piss them off. |
