| Haredim are a flexible lot! In pre-war Germany the Hirschian Kehillohs were uncompromisingly Orthodox yet included their fair share of doctors, lawyers, judges, professors, company directors etc. Most American Haredim and most British Haredim have proper job training and work to support their families. The secular media image of Haredim as `sacred parasites` is quite inaccurate. We are not a plague! |
