| As to the ultra orthodox minority, nobody should have any fears because they are already adapting to economic pressure. On the other hand, the secular Jews represent a much bigger problem for the Jewish identity of Israel. The education they receive both at home and at school cuts them off from their Jewish roots.The ignorance is appalling. It seems like that secular Jews are afraid that knowledge of Jewish traditions will tempt them to become orthodox. It`s just stupid. Knowledge will just help strenghten the bond with eretz Israel |
