Since the start of Obama`s administration, there has been a building crecendo as to what Israel`s obligations are if the `peace process` is to advance. At the same time, the argument goes that Arab extremist groups, notably HAMAS and Hizballah, need to be heard from and their voices given hearing as well.
What has been missing from the entire public discussion is the obligations that these organizations and states will need to adhere to if the idea of peace is going to work.
Unfortunately, it`s been all arm-twisting Israel, while fluffing the collective ego of the Arab World. That`s a recipe for more of the same. If you`re going to push the idea of popping dogmistic balloons Brad, then you need to make sure you have pins aplenty for both.
If its high time the settlement`s were publically and realistically addressed, then its high time the Arab world is forced to face the mirror of their own hatful and violent history towards Israel and the Jews. |
