| As an American Jew who in the past has been reluctant to publicly criticize Israel, it is now becoming all to clear that silence is complicity. The continued occupation of the West Bank, and in fact the expansion of the occupation, is nothing more than undisguised colonialism. It is immoratl, illegal and frustrates any peace effort. And then, for Netanyahu, flanked by Barak, to distance himself from a two state solution, is a disgrace. Israel for the Israelis, Palestine for the Palestinians. The game is up. End the occupation, now! |
