| By supporting the concept of Israel being a Zionist "Jewish" state, we promote the same kind of ethnic differentiation that has characterized multiple societies in the past, and that were renowned for antagonizing less "privileged"/protected ethnics, going as far as instigating violence against other ethnics, resulting in such terrible acts such as ethnic cleansing, such as those seen in the Armenian genocide, Rwandan genocide, and other acts of ethnic cleansing can come to fruition. If we yield to Israel`s demand, filled with inflicting terror and creating further discrimination against Iran, we simply show that we condone the inhuman postures held by the Israeli government. We cannot simply continue to ignore the deafening reality that tells us that the reason Israel wishes to war with Iran, is to deflect attention on situations on ground (Palestinian situation, human rights violations, that it is not a democracy, but an elaborate PR campaign mounted by Israel`s ruling elite). |
