| I remember spending many great nights and early mornings in Jaffa at friendly restaurants. I remember how many Arabs worked in restaurants, in construction, and at many other jobs too. I no longer eat in Jaffa late at night and barely visit any more. Arabs workers have been replaced by others (whom I don`t have anything against) whilst Arabs are unemployed. Last time I was in Jaffa, I was waiting at a bus stop at around 10:30PM and a car stopped and picked me up. The driver said, `don`t you know it`s dangerous?". It`s a pity for both Jewish and non-Jewish Israelis. Mike |
