| If the issue is not Iran, then it is the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Israel has no choice but to change the subject to Iran. The Netanyahu government could not survive any attempt to solve the conflict with the Palestinians, much less a peace agreement. This is a pragmatic matter, not an ideological one. Even IF (a very big if) Bibi wanted to pursue a two state solution, he could not because of his dependence upon Lieberman`s extremists. |
