It is really odd that a Democrat president in the US would enter international affairs this early in his presidency. Democrats are the "domestic policy" presidents. They, ie Jimmy Carter & Bill Clinton, don`t enter the international scene until after their domestic agenda fails. Odd! Very odd!!
