| The foreign minister`s statement is extremely mild. Not only must Israel stop building more settlements (outposts or the like) it must dismantle all the others already built previosly. There is no country in the entire world which support the settlements policy. It`s illegal and it hinders the peace process which the world is awaiting. Israel should recollect Dayan`s words after the 6-Days-War: Land for Peace! And comprehend that millions of moslems, who don`t really sympathize with Israel, are living in the conquered territories! Based on religion and biblical promising the Israeli doctrine has no chance as regards International Law and Human Rights. 20000 square kilometers (the green border) must suffice, and it will eventually suffice because there is no support for more in the entire world. Israel must accept the fact that the world doesn`t dance according to its tunes, that it is increasingly isolates and insulated and risks the lives of thousands of its citizens in future war. |
