| Israel has NO effective missle defense against Iranian missles and is 2-3 years from developing an effective defense. So it seems to me an attack on Iran will likely result in the totally unnecessary deaths of many Israelis. Especially since an attack is unlikely to result in the cessation of Iranian enrichment. (which they have a legal right to do under the NPT treaty as long as it for peaceful purposes) Since there is NO, I repeat NO evidence Iran is trying to enrich beyond the 5% neccesary for energy (they need to enrich to 95% for a bomb)There is NO reason to attack them. Iran has NEVER attacked another country in the last 1000 years but will retaliate with a vengence if attacked first. This would be a tragic event for Israel. Lets hope saner minds prevail. |
