No chance of a Pal state working if it is geographically in 2 pieces.
Makes much more sense to make the state with Gaza the capital: An airport (impossible to build in WB because of topography), a seaport, both necessary for a viable economy.
It is not the gross land area anyway, it is the arable and livable land that counts. WB is 80% neither. Expand Gaza toward the south and east out beyond Sderot and you have a great solution. Elect leaders that spend UNRWA funds on water desalination and sewage, not on weapons. Voila. An Eden is born. |
