| This really all boarders on an idolatrization of the state. This is certainly not what Judiasm is all about, or what Jews have been about over the centuries. This is the kind of exclusive, narrow minded, ultra nationalism which often victimized Jews in Europe. Makes it very hard for many US Jews to get excited about supporting Israel. Increasingly it does not reflect and in fact conflicts with out values. |
