| Reading this article by Ariel Beery has taught me a lot, and strengthen the sometimes lonely attachment that as a Jew I have to the State of Israel. The JPPPI sounds a fascinating ad important innitiative, but more important is the debate that is starting. I guess that somehow this development, alongside the possible end of orthodox monopoly of Judasim in Israel, go hand in hand, potentiate each other, and open a vast door for concrete walking hand in hand, a strengthening of Aliyah as well as of Jewish identity and connection to Israel in the diaspora. All this is marvelous news, in rather darkened times. Kol Hakavod ! (All my respect !) |
