| Some people here in Israel have big mouths & a small stick behind their backs. Unlike Roosevelt`s famous saying: speak softly,but keep a big stick behind your back! (if not word for word,that`s the gist of what he said). The public is NOT entitled to know everything. Perhaps,people will next demand to hold the cabinet sessions in the maidan,open for all to participate! Sometimes the government deliberations are of such nature where silly-small-brained members leak what might constitute a danger to state secrets. Influential newspaper correspondents/reporters,are at times,also unscrupulous,& rush to print `scoops`,without giving it a second thought what damage their `scoop` can cause. |
