China, Russia and South Korea all share a common nightmare. That being that the North Korean regime simply collapses into chaos with no effective government. China in particular supports North Korea in it`s goal of pursuing economic reform on the Singapore model which has served China so well. None of the three nations bordering North Korea sees any advantage in having chaos on their doorstep. There is no nation involved who wants a war on the Korean peninsula.
