This is exactly what someone who puts Israel before America would say.
But of course in the end, the continuation of the Israeli-Palestinian/Lebanese/Syrian etc conflict helps no one, least of all the US and Israel.
Even if one doesn`t believe in linkage, no one could reasonably argue that an end to the conflict would hurt other Middle East conflicts. The question is not if it would help- the question is how much it would help. Linkage or not- Israel needs to abandon its illegal, brutal, and unjust occupation. |
