| There is nothing, absolutely NOTHING, that the USA can do to make peace between Israel and the Palestinians or Arabs. All it can do is go forth to do what it has to to promote it`s own interest. Israel does not give the slightest about the needs of the United States, and the United States is silly enough to think because it gives Israel tens of billions of dollars every year that Israel should care about the US. Clearly the interests of the two nations have not converged in the least since the collapse of the Soviet Union. So why not just an amicable divorce? Israel gets to do what it wants to do, and America no longer has to pay for it? What is wrong with that? |
