Kris` victory had nothing to do with bigotry.
Adam won 60% of the vote in the rest of the USA not including Arkansas but Arkansas put in 40% of the total vote and 95% of those were for Kris.
The Speaker of the House in Arkansas disclosed to the local medial that AT&T had informed him of the huge vote from Arkansas which amounted to 36 million votes for Kris and just under 2 million for Adam. This left Adam in the impossible position of having to win at least 75% of the vote in the rest of the country to win and no contestant has ever done that.
Arkansas had been holding "Kris Allen Must Win" fundraisers to buy Go phones and chargers in bulk, to pay the electricity bills for the halls where they were holding huge "Kris Allen voting parties", a website gave instructions on how to set up the phones to send the maximum votes at a time, phones were set with different area codes so they could be used for voting in different timezones and hence vote for the full seven hours, and so on. |
