The reason their is a warranted anti-Western sentiment towards the west, is precisely do to the same kind of idiotic international policies has employed throughout history: destroy nationalistic groups that could prevent national interests on resources, or preserving dominance, from materializing. And if those groups do materialize: sanction, instigate inner strife/coups or instigate wars. The reason why ME has turned fundamentalist, is because they see Western missiles destroying their homes, killing their people, antagonizing their culture, and trying to undermine them as humans.
