Some of the posts I read here seem to totally misunderstand what freedom of speech in America means. A law such as proposed here would be impossible in the US. People can say what they want, worship as they want and grieve as they want. If any of these activities rub against the grain of the popular zeitgeist, well that`s just too bad.
Israel is very tender about its beginnings and there are a lot of people who don`t share Israel`s "official story". Well, that;s too bad but everyone is entitled to their opinions and their sorrows. Israel should just let the chips fall where they may. |
