No "settlements" existed between the years 1948 and 1967. So, why did the Arabs set out to "liberate" their land having established the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Fatah. Which part of "Palestine" did they go out to "liberate" if the entire West Bank and the Gaza Strip were under total Arab control?
And when they sent their "liberators" to action, it was to place explosives and to murder Jews living west of the Green Line, inside Israel.
The same can be said with regard to the way the Arabs dealt with the uprooting of Jews from the Gaza Strip and from the northern Shomron.
"Settlements" is not the issue. The fundamental issue is the Muslim-Arabs` refusal to accept the the right of Israel to exist on any parcel of land between the River and the Sea. |
