| Lieberman is correct. It is time to put the pressure from Obama where it belongs, on the PA. Israel should simply state it is prepared to meet roadmap obligations. For every evacuated outpost, the PA should produce a cache of weapons (rockets) from the Gaza or West Bank. If they can`t or won`t, no further outposts go. My guess is this will shut down the whole process of pressuring Israel, and it will have a lever against Obama. Everyone will understand the linkage. This will also force Abbas, if he is serious (which I doubt) to have the Palestinians choose between Hamas and the Fatah. This needs to play out in the open. |
