So what does it matter if Ahmadinejad has some Jewish ancestors?
It might explain why he is so intransigent.
I really don`t care if he thinks Israel will vanish. He is President of Iran and that is only slightly more powerful than the President of Israel.
Or should I say the President of Israel is only slightly more impotent?
That Ahmadinejad feels it necessary to deplore the idea of d?tente with the west says a great deal about how vulnerable he has become.
A man who ran on how he would improve the lives of Iranians has failed to do anything beyond shooting his mouth off about matters over which he has no control.
When any politician seeks to distract the public from his responsibilities and failures, and raise the threat imposed by outsiders, it is a sign he is an incompetent, a demagogue, or a failure.
Mr. Ahmadinejad appears to be all of those.
He still might win, but he has lost Dick Cheney and George Bush, two of his three great allies.
Israel remains his great supporter |
