| Wikipedia did not say he was Jewish; it said his opponents accused him of being Jewish. Actually, I wondered if he was an Armenian who became muslim because his name ended in ian; of course, I don`t know Iranian names and I know that not all names ending in ian are Armenian (i.e. Sebastian) ha ha. Armenians, forgive me. However, opponents accuse Gul of Turkey or Erdogan of being Jewish or even Armenian when they are friendly to the Jews or Armenians (I doubt they are). Ahmadinejad, doesn`t seem too friendly to the Jews, so I don`t know why they accused him of being one. |
