I never understood Israel before during my teens, but as I kept growing and read stories about Israel, watched movies related to Israel and Jews a special respect flowered in my heart for people of Israel. I mean Israel is such a small country, even smaller than many states in India, but it is still so powerful, rich in culture, science and economy.
I think every political party in India whether its is BJP or Congress, wants close relation with Israel. I don`t know why Even our old closest ally Russia don`t get much media attention. I think because Russia has worked with India in only defense sector. If we had some cultural sharing then Russia they could have gained attention of Indian public and media.
The same is happening with Israel-India relation also. we should extend our friendship beyond defense deals. we should share culture, movies, songs, easy visa procedure, science and technology, Jobs..etc. If we do this then certainly Israel and India relation will touch new heights. |
