| The writer`s conclusion that "dialogue is hard" aptly describes the situation. However, if Jews are willing to speak and "dialogue" with Palestinians, whether Israeli citizens or not, in order to break down stereotypes, improve tolerance of each other, and recognize the fears of the "other", surely Jews throughout the world should be willing to attempt "dialogue". To refuse to do so in good faith is a total betrayal of Jewish values. They deserve our contempt. |
