Iran has mutual-defense pacts, so an Israeli OFFENSIVE attack on Iran would be an act of war on these nations too.
Now as Israeli`s are proud to state over and over, it is lawful under international law to keep land acquired in a DEFENSIVE war.
So an Offensive attack launched by Israel would trigger a situation where Iran, and any ally that joins it in it`s Defensive War, would have the right to take and keep any land they could manage to hold.
An offensive war against Iran would truly put Israeli land at risk, in a way that Iran`s nuclear programs could never do. |
