| I don`t think that anyone is qualified to relinquish Palestinian sovereignty over the Al Aqsa Mosque Compound. The Mosque is not some private property that can be passed on or given up. The site is revered by 1.5 billion Muslims around the world so any talk of relinquishing it is just water off a duck`s backside. I don`t understand why Jews keep referring to the site as temple? When the Arab army conquered the city in the 7th century there was no temple on the site. What they found was a huge rubbish dump. Caliph Omar I was horrified and he ordered the people to clear it up and build a Grand Mosque. So I don`t understand this obsession with temples? |
