| I suggest a widespread boycott of the Edimburgh film festival. When an organisation is refusing to accept a participant because of his nationality, religion, habits, ie because of what he is and not because he has done something wrong is purely unacceptable: this is racism, antisemitism, stupidity. We thought we were done with that after nazism. It is unfortunate that a director with the talent of Ken Loach promotes such behaviour. Shame on him. |
