| Ain`t going to happen. No unilateral Israeli gestures. A veto-proof majority just ordered Obama ("advice and consent" clause of the US Constitution) not to try to force from Israel any concessions that are not exactly matched by PA moves to end terrorism (meaning E-N-D, not "hudna", including from Gaza). Obama is bright enough to realize that his report card won`t get marked by US voters for how successful he is at mideast peace or a PA state. Its about the e-c-o-n-o-m-y. And his agenda will instantly go down the toilet if he picks a destructive fight with Congressover Israel. The palestinians are like a compulsive gambler who always loses the rent money at the Vegas or horse track, always overplay their hand, and lose. They just did it again. Watch. |
