That is a good point - reform Judaism is very different from orthodox, just like orthodox is nothing like real temple Judaism. They just changed the rules and started a new religion post-temple period based on the original Judaism (actually it branched off pre loss of the temple, but thats another story)..

Love the whole "my Judaism is more pure than your Judaism"... racial and religious purity reminds me of something nasty... mmm, what could it be???

The sad thing is a lot of people seem to have this unfouded belief that judaism hasn`t changed over time, or had multiple branches in the past, the non temple branch that existed before the destruction of the second temple is actually the surviving branch, despite being a major change...
