| It`s much easier to hear it all from George and sleep like a baby at night, but what keeps me kicking and sleepless in the wee hours of the night is the harsh reality of BBS`s real life scenario in clear black and white. The Occupation will rot our souls and destroy everything noble in the Zionist vision of a free democratic State of Israel for the Jewish peoople and its Arab minority. I live here and raised my family here, and will die here, I love this country but I will never approve, never, of this inhumane occupation. I will not be a Lord over another people. The Palstinians must have the same equal right to national self determination in dignity as I have, and that has nothing to do with my personal revulsion for Hamas or Hezbollah or Ahmad-in-jihad. Nothing. I will fight them if I have to and I will not negotiate my existence with anyone, but I will not oppress an entire people who deserve to live with the same dignity that I seek for myself, my family and my own people. |
