| Nothing has really changed. Mr.Obama continues with past US Policies. The Arab world continues to be indifferent. To the Palestinian State. Jordan, loathes Fatah. Egypt, loathes Hamas. PM Netanyahu has a weak coalition. Dominated by FM Lieberman. As before, its all talk. Theatrics. Promises. Israel cannot afford to have an enemy State. As a neighbor, Lobbing missiles on the cities. The US has bigger problems in the ME. Iraq and Afghanistan. ( Pakistan N Korea Iran) Israel, may be a powerful military in the ME. Best to maintain its alliance with Washington. Iran cannot ever be attacked without US compliance. Nor will Iran attack Israel. For the gracious President has asked for time. Mr. George Mitchel has been around the ME for many years. He knows the score. So does second time premier Netanyahu. The US and Israel, will continue talking, a few moves here and there, roadblocks,outposts etc. Nobody, less of all, the above countries want an upheaval in the ME |
