| You are talking about IFF devices (Identification Friend or Foe). Yes it is true that US made platforms contain IFF devices which do not engage US Armed Forces because it recognises them as allied forces. However, I would like to inform you that all Turkish Air Force vipers and aircraft use an indegenous ASELSAN of Turkey manufactured IFF device. Turkey has all source codes and can make any changes it sees fit whenever it wants. |
