| ...especially keeping comments shut-off on Aluf Benn`s article claiming Israel gave Obama a year on Iran. Do you really think that will fool anyone watching the press conference, and most especially anyone in the American administration? Haaretz is sacrificing itself in the name of PR and defending that which cannot be defended. And publishing Aluf Benn`s piece under the very misleading headline "ANALYSIS / Israel gives Obama until end of year on Iran", and not allowing comments which will immediately and factually refute that claim, Haaretz has sunk quite low indeed. Why would Haaretz allow this? We all saw the press conference. Obama did not even reiterate what was reportedly said in the Newsweek article that Bibi piggy-backed off of. It is so surreal watching a country destroy itself even as so many try to dissuade it from doing so. |
