Probably both. The so called cameras should have been made in Israel. Then again these cameras are sophisticated, one cannot expect the Israeli/Turkish military honeymoon to last forever, especially over the last 12 months of ever changing policies from Ankara. Israel cannot continue too supply drones to countries that overtly court with the enemies of Israel. The backlog of drones to other openly friendly countries should be fulfilled. The days, when Israel upgraded Turkish Air force aircraft may be over. Remember the Super Phantom.? Turkey has changed, politically, Then again, so has Israel. Israel must simply cancel the drone deal in a polite manner. Or, both countries must sit down and rewrite its military and political ties in a meaningful manner. Our military ties have been excellent, for many years. The purging of the Turkish military and secular elite continues. The only real winners are our enemies. |
