| There are over 1 million arabs in Israel and they spoke with 700. Where are these arabs from, what are their jobs, what are their political views ( right / left ), how religious are they? All that makes a big difference to polls. I can`t believe that even 41% recognise Israels right to exist as a jewish democratic state. The number of arabs wanting to replace the jewish state with a secular binational one is growing. I am surprised more arabs didn`t recognise Israels right to exist as an indpendent country considering they know that they have a better life here than they would in any arab country. As for the holocaust denial I very much doubt that the figures are anything like as high as 41% most are educated well enough to believe the holocaust happened. Most arabs blame the holocaust for the creation of Israel. At anti Israel rallies you will get plenty of holocaust denial but once the rally is over most of these deniers will admit to themselves that it happened. |
