The PA was the RESULT of the "Interim Agreement on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip", which means that the PA could hardly have violated Oslo "before the ink had dried" because the PA didn`t even exist then. Anyway, Barach is incorrect to claim that there is ANY agreement with ANYONE that says that Israel has the right to "Natural Growth" in the settlements. Certainly not the Oslo Accords - which says only that an agreement on the settlements will be left for later i.e. Oslo neither added to, nor took away from, any Israeli "rights" regarding "settlements". Those "rights" remained as they always had been i.e. non-existent. |
