Benjamin Netanyahu`s performance fits the ever changing middle east situation. Israel is too small to take a chance. It is an unacceptable risk to have Hamas on the west bank as long as it doesn`t recognize Israel. For now, it looks like a 3 state solution is better, namely, Hamastan in Gaza, Fatahstan in the west bank and Israel.
How can BiBi make any commitment as long as the situation of Hamas vs. Fatah is unresolved? And if he did, what good will it do coming from a country that Hamas claims that it shouldn`t exist and that they will continue the terror against Israel no matter what.
Bibi just can`t make any promoses until the situation clears up. |
