It`s quite foolish to assume that if the world were being run by a secret organisation, it would be one as visible as the Bilderbergs.
If it was, we would never know about it.
And the fact that we are so quick to assume they are controlling our global affairs speaks about exactly how pathetic and powerless we feel. It`s much more comforting to think that the state of the world is part of an elaborate plan, that it has meaning. Rather than a thoroughly corrupt and weak system that nobody is controlling.
