| After butchering 850,000 Tutsi of Rwanda, the Hutu tribe that committed this atrocity was booted out of the country into exile. Do the Hutu now get to celebrate their own "Nakba Day"? The goal of the Arabs was to do the same thing to the Jews of the new state the UN wanted to create along side an Arab State, Only, they failed at their genocidal war, and fell into their own trap. The traiterous Sudeten Germans got the same treatment. Imagine the survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki commemorating their self-inflicted loss on...US Independence Day, July 4th! How would that go over? Of course, Nagasaki and Hiroshima have no memorials to Nanking or the Bataan Death March. A proper date for a "Nakba Day" would maybe be the date of the unconditional surrender of the defeated Egyptian and Jordanian forces that invaded Israel in 1948. Or maybe the day on which Trans-Jordan annexed the Palestinian W. Bank in 1951, preventing its independence. Or maybe Arafat`s birthday. Now THOSE were disasters! |
