The ultra orthodox have taken over secualr neighbourhoods in Jerusalem, bringing their mikvas, yeshivas, sinagogues and imposing their 15 century norms on the original inhabitants. The end results was that the seculars had to flee.
Their rabis, instead of being modest and discrete about this `achivement`, tonted the seculars and praised their communities for another `win` in the path of `reclaiming` Jerusalme from the seculars (who will be left to pay taxes?).
How can you blame Tel Aviv residents for being so defensive? |
