Israel "lost" two wars? It failed to win outright, only because on humanitarian grounds it refused to fight with the same civilian-murdering, nihilist-jihadi ethos as its opponents. Could it have won outright? Certainly.
Should it have? Yes. Because the primary failure in Israeli political thought is the failure to realize that people like the UN, the Euro-American Left, the Arab League, et. al. will find a way to condemn it equally whether it`s a rogue killer of "civilians" hiding jihadis or a "loser" who failed to take out the vaunted "resistance".
Israel: Stop trying to win in the world popularity contest. Ain`t gonna happen with Carter II in the white house and Durban III in planning. You know this about the Arabs: They`ll respect you when you win. |
