| To those Israelis who believe the US will have to join in a war with Iran if Israel starts it this should be the final word. Israel has chosen to elect a right-wing psychopath government. This is not the fault of Netanyahu or Lieberman. This is the collective `Will` of the Israeli people. Here in the United States we have suffered all of the calumny that right wing psychopaths can produce and we are not ready to join in another round of the same criminal lunacy just because Israel wants to start a war. Israel, frustrated by the fact that oppressed people will fight back, that it has lost two wars, one against Hizbollah and another against Hams has decided that a war with Iran is just what it needs to cure it`s problems. But the United States is not a party to a suicide pact with the sociopaths which rule Israel. Israel is in the position of Germany in the summer of 1939. It wants to follow it`s leader to a great victory. Even if that leader has to lie about the threat. |
