The goverment and all its departments are top heavy with ex-military personel. Generals and others who spent most of their lives serving the country as war machines are probably the best when it comes to death and destruction and they do not suit civilian life at all. But they hold government positions and the results of their bad decisions reflect on the whole population of Israel.
If Israel is to begin cleaning up its image, we must first stop giving so many knesset seats to the military, police and security people. Government must bring in new people who are true politicians with correct perspective of the real world.
Time to put zionism in the history book and look forward to joining the world community by commiting to real peace - spelt peace and not piece. |
