Songs, like sermons, are much, if not all about dreams. Witness the power of Martin Luther King`s legendary "I have a dream", which shook down the foundations of American bigotry.
The Sarah Boyle phenomenon which gripped the world was similarly rooted in the hopes and dreams of millions for a better life rising from the dust and ashes of fate which the world seems to impose. Sarah rose above it all through her marvelous song.
Therefore don`t underestimate the Israeli duo and duet which portrays a similar dream confronting the institutionalized bigotry of this world. I haven`t had the privelege of hearing their song, but the match, the duet, was certainly made in heaven, and has lifted us all a little higher. |
