| Maybe the Germans burnt their own city and blamed the Allies to create an atrocity accusation. Maybe the Chinese killed their own at Nanjing for the same reason. Maybe the US didn`t nuke Hiroshima; maybe Japan just ordered 100,000 people to scatter to other towns, then sent in demolition crews, and had a few people dress up for the cameras in gruesome makeup. No one invents these alternatives. There aren`t "two sides to the story." The Allies bombed Dresden. The Japanese massacred huge numbers of Chinese at Nanjing. The US A-bombed Hiroshima. There aren`t "two sides to the story" about the facts of the Holocaust, either. So when people deny the Holocaust, they aren`t interested in finding the truth. They have a political agenda. They want that large percentage of audience who are not that knowledgeable about it to think, "maybe there are two sides to the story." Hosting such calculated denial is like hosting pages that say blacks liked slavery, or that women shouldn`t vote. |
